Opening hours for groups
Would you like to visit the Bundesbank-Bunker with a group of 20 or more people?
Contact us today and arrange your individual appointment. A group size includes a maximum of around 30 to 35 people; larger groups are divided. If there are an even larger number of visitors, further tours will take place every 15 minutes. The registered group tours take place at different times than the open tours for individual visitors. They are available as a regular tour, lasting 40 minutes, or as a themed tour, lasting 120 minutes.

Groups are asked to register for tours in advance. We are happy to make flexible appointments possible, adapted to your travel plan.

Visit the Bundesbank bunker on your next hiking day!
A visit to the Bundesbank bunker is history you can touch –
for young and old.
During a guided tour, students experience a piece of german moneytary history and learn details about Germany’s secret substitute currency and the old War.
For school classes we offer special and, depending on age, child-friendly tours.
Prices: €167.00 per group of up to 22 students and 2 teachers.
Special theme tours
From now on, the special themed tours Insider Tour and Operation Geheim can also be arranged for groups on certain days; the earliest start time is 3:30 p.m./4:00 p.m.!
InsiderTour
Start is in front of the bunker entrance. The group goes via the former camouflage houses through the secret passage into the bunker complex. It’s time for detailed information about the bunker complex and also for one or two anecdotes while enjoying a glass of champagne in the casino.
Operation Geheim
The Operation Secret tour starts at the visitor center. After a short introduction, the group goes through the outdoor area up to the cooling tower and descends around 100 steps into the underworld. The focus here is on topics such as secrecy, security and bunkers. Nevertheless, of course you will find out why the Bundesbank bunker was built in Cochem. The visit is rounded off with an apple and spirits specialty at the end of the tour.

Additional service
During the season, before or after a bunker tour, you and your group can enjoy coffee and cake, appetizers or a glass of wine on the Hotel Vintage’s sun terrace. The sun terrace offers you a large selection of coffee specialties and, upon request, we are happy to serve your group warm or cold dishes. Group Booking Request
Individual visitors are asked to take part in the regular guided tours on the hour without registering in advance.
Our current opening times for individual visitors can be found in the Opening times & prices section.
Groups of 20 or more people are asked to register for our guided tours in advance.
Additional dates are offered on request and independently of the regular tour times. The group size is a maximum of approx. 25 to 30 people, larger groups will be divided. Up to 50 people can be guided at the same time. If the number of visitors is even larger, the further tours will take place at intervals of 15 minutes.
The minimum fee is €196 for up to 14 people.
