awards
Museum of the Month November 2025
The Ministry for Family, Women, Culture and Integration (MFFKI), represented by Culture Minister Katharina Binz, presented the coveted €1,000 award for Museum of the Month November 2025 from the state of Rhineland-Palatinate for special services and exemplary museum work.
The entire team is delighted with this state-wide recognition of the Bundesbank Bunker as an authentic place of remembrance that brings history to life in a special way.
#Moselhelden 2022
The expert jury of Faszination Mosel has selected us, along with five other candidates, as Mosel Heroes 2022, thereby recognising us as one of the outstanding flagship projects in the Moselle region.
This fills us with pride and delights the entire team, especially our twelve tour guides, who give their all every day with passion and expertise.
Thank you very much for these wonderful awards!
By far safely through the Bundesbank Bunker
From November 2020 to June 2021, the documentation center had to remain closed due to the lockdown. Behind the doors, however, things continued to get busy: thanks to the New Start Culture funding program run by the Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and the Media, overseen by the German Association of Archeology, it is now possible to offer a ticketing system with an online shop and an app-based audio guide. The necessary IT structure for this was also created.
We make the documentation center fit for the digital future.
